Room to Breath. Room to Move. Room to Grow.
One of the foundational concepts in Kenneth’s work with clients is the connection between our emotional and physical bodies.
The healing space is much like a dance studio. Here, with close attention to physical and emotional safety, you can experiment– express yourself freely both verbally and physically. Work through the trauma and release energetic blocks and protections that no longer serve you.
Transformation is a word often trivialized and overused, but in body psychotherapy, transformation can and does happen. Here is my take on how it unfolds:
“Move toward the heart of the wound, so that it can be felt, and experienced in the light of kindness and presence. Here the energy and power embedded in the wound is freed and can be channeled through the heart, giving rise to compassionate outrageous action.”
In this space
you are welcome,
you are safe,
You are free.
Here you will be supported in your journey, in whatever shape and form that looks like for you. These walls will protect you, and allow you to move through the work of your healing in a way that feels right for you.
“This work teaches a way of being. We use somatics, creative expression, and meditative methods to work with the material of life in order to both deepen the sense of self and to see beyond the self to the far reaches of our consciousness. Yoga for the Emotional Body is grounded in the understanding that true health includes a commitment to nonviolence, respect for the natural world, and service to others.”
A Place of Transformation.
It is Kenneth’s goal to help you shed that which no longer serves you, so that you may live in a state of peace, acceptance, and understanding.
